Aimee Wang

Aimee Wang is a classical pianist born and raised in China, where she began her piano studies at the age of five. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Piano Performance at the University of Houston under the tutelage of Dr. Tali Morgulis. During her graduate studies, she has been awarded scholarships and teaching assistantships. At the University of Houston, she teaches undergraduate group piano courses and also teaches private lessons and adult performance classes through the Community Arts Academy.

Aimee has been actively involved in piano competitions and festivals. Her recent engagements include the 2023 UNCSA Summer Piano Intensive Program, the 2024 Atlantic Music Festival, and the 2025 PianoTexas International Festival. At these events, she was selected to perform in multiple masterclasses and community concerts and frequently collaborated with other musicians as a collaborative pianist.

Aimee has completed all levels of the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum in piano performance, music theory, and music history, earning First Class Honors on all examinations. Prior to moving to Houston, she studied with Yulia Roubtsova and has also received private instruction and masterclasses from distinguished artists including Dr. Dmitri Shteinberg, Dr. Yi-Yang Chen and others.
